LEAP Mission
Our mission is to provide an innovative supplementary education system that helps students excel and reach their full potential in school and in life.
Hello from us!
Michelle Poh - Director
Hi, I am Michelle, a middle school science teacher and a mom to three awesome children who are attending public school in Alameda. As a public school science teacher and having children spanning the age of 4 thru 15, I have noticed how education and homework expectations have changed dramatically in the last 10 years.
Having two younger children still in public elementary school, I want to make sure they grow into responsible individuals. In order for me to ensure that, I have been supplementing them with extra math and reading at home when I have the time. I also met parents, like me, who would like to supplement their children but do not have the bandwidth or time to do so.
Therefore, my husband and I have decided to search for an English and Math curriculum that we can share with this community. We are proud to be able to not only help students reach their academic potential but also foster them with good work habits and responsibility. We are thrilled to share this curriculum with you and see your children rise to their potential.

Jack Liu - Assistant Director
Hi, I am Jack, my professional background is in financial analysis. Over the past twenty years, I had the opportunity to work with children in a variety of functions. It was a rewarding experience. I was a head coach in summer basketball camps. I mentored middle schoolers on the importance of education, and showed them what a day in the life of corporate America look like. In addition, I taught Sunday school and worked with youths at church.
I noticed how education has changed since my teenager was in elementary school. Whether it is the lowering of academic standards and rigor, change or lack of expectations, to difficulty of learning during the pandemic, it is not easy for our youth. They need help.
We believe our Leap way is the solution. Leap’s small instructor to student ratio (typically 1 to 4 or less) and alignment to Common Core will ensure your kids build a strong math and English foundation.
Thank you for giving us this opportunity to partner with you and work with your children!
